Worcester County Warrant Records Worcester County Warrant Records

Most warrant questions belong with the clerk of the court that issued the process or with the sheriff's records office, not with this site. This page explains what we can and cannot help with, and which Worcester County office to call for a case status, a record request, or a resolution step.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear one, post bail, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice to anyone. For those, reach the clerk of the issuing court or the sheriff's records office directly.

Here is where the questions people ask most often about Worcester County should go:

  • A warrant status: the clerk of the issuing court, who can confirm the current process status by docket number; the sheriff's office publishes no county warrant list
  • A missed court date: the District Court division that set the case, plus the probation office named in your paperwork if the missed event was a supervision appointment
  • Resolving or clearing a warrant: a licensed Massachusetts attorney and the issuing court, through a motion to recall or quash, an appearance, or bail
  • An arrest warrant tied to a charge: the court sets the charge and bail, and an authorized officer serves the warrant and brings the person before the court
  • A federal matter: the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts in Worcester, which is separate from the county and Trial Court systems

For Superior Court matters, the countywide clerk's office is at Worcester Superior Court, 225 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01608. The clerk can be reached at 508-831-2300 or Worcester.clerksoffice@jud.state.ma.us. District Court cases belong with the division named on the notice, and each division has its own clerk line and probation number.

For county records rather than case status, write to the Worcester County Sheriff's Office Records Access Officer at 5 Paul X. Tivnan Drive, West Boylston, MA 01583, by phone at 508-854-1983, or by email at WCSOPRR@sdw.state.ma.us. The jail and general business line is 508-854-1800.

Note: The two sheriff's pages list different public-records numbers, so confirm the current one before sending a request. The contact page lists general records at 508-854-1800 extension 6402 and public records at 508-854-1927, while the public-records page lists 508-854-1983.
